Just 10 minutes downriver from Saphan Taksin BTS Skytrain Station, this once-bustling international trade port has been revitalized, with space for over 1,500 boutiques and 40 restaurants. All housed under a huge replica warehouse complex.
Some shops open early, but it’s best to come after 17:00. Things don’t quiet down until about 11 o’clock at night.
Spending an evening here is no problem. You’ll have good fun browsing the boutiques, picking up gifts or something for yourself; You’re guaranteed to find something you would like to eat, and if this isn’t enough entertainment, shows are performed nightly.
FORTUNE TOWN IT MALL
This one is sort of an oddity on a list of best Bangkok shopping malls, but no list of this type is complete without it. The Fortune Town shopping mall is attached to the Fortune Hotel, with the IT mall beginning on the 4th floor.
For those accustomed to visiting Pantip Plaza for electronics, this is the place to go now. Prices remain low, but you can expect better quality. The IT area is spacious with friendly staff, making it an overall nice shopping experience.
