The world is finally reopen for traveling! Much of Asia put into practice stricter and longer lasting COVID-19 restrictions, and that pent up demand means countries in Asia are likely to be popular destinations over the next year. However, hotel operators are betting on this by opening new luxurious locations that are ready to welcome guests. Below, are the 9 best Asian luxury hotels opening in 2023, according to CNN Travel.

1. Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach – Chon Buri, Thailand

Scheduled to begin welcoming guests in February 2023, the Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach‘s 204 rooms are spread between teakwood villas and beachfront hotel units. For larger groups of travelers, the resort has two larger dwellings, a 4-bedroom Manor House and a 6-bedroom Heritage House. On site, guests have access to three swimming pools, the beach, and six restaurants.

2. Bulgari HoteL – Tokyo, Japan

The Bulgari Hotel in Tokyo,Japan will open in spring and occupy the top seven floors of a new skyscraper near the Ginza and the Imperial Palace. Among its 98 rooms and suites, the 45th floor Bvlgari Suite promises fantastic views of the city. The hotel features a 25-meter-long indoor swimming pool and several dining concepts, including the brand’s signature Il Bar and Il Ristorante.

3. Cap Karoso – Sumba, Indonesia

Indonesia’s Sumba Island is a one-hour flight from Bali. Founding couple Fabrice and Evguenia Ivara want to make a positive impact with their resort, they’re committing to hiring 80% of the staff locally and ensuring 50% of Cap Karoso’s energy coming from solar power. The resort will have 47 rooms and 20 villas, as well as an organic farm with a farming school for the benefit of the local community.

4. Four Seasons Hotel – Suzhou, CHina

In late 2023, the Four Seasons will open its Suzhou hotel. Situated on a private island in the center of Jinji Lake, the hotel will have 200 rooms, suites and villas, a lavish spa, indoor and outdoor pools, lush gardens, a jogging track, a kids’ club, a high-end Chinese restaurant, and a lobby bar offering stunning views of the lake.

5. Innit Lombok – Jerowaru, Indonesia

Situated on a 250-meter-long beach, the Innit Lombok will open in stages throughout over the course of 2023. The resort is split into three areas, one comprising of 7 beach houses, another with the elevated Bridge Hotel that features 26 ocean view suites, and one comprising of 27 private residences scattered across the hilltop. The two-bedroom beach houses will be the first to open, along with a 35-meter-long pool, and the Anakampung seafront restaurant/ The restaurant menu is based on freshly caught seafood from local fishermen and supplied with fruits and vegetables from its own organic farm. Hotel amenities will include an outdoor cinema, spa, gym and art pavilion.

6. Regent – Hong Kong

The Regent Hotel first opened in Hong Kong in 1980, was later rebranded as InterContinental in 2001 and then closed for refurbishment in 2021. The hotel has been Considered one of the best hotels of the region for two decades after it first opened. The hotel will re-open in 2023 under Regent, its original name. The hotel’s 497 rooms and suites will be accompanied by a 2 Michelin star restaurant, Lai Ching Heen, The Steak House, Nobu, and the new cocktail bar Destination.

7. Shinta Mani Mustang – Mustang, Nepal

The remote mountain lodge will have only 29 suites, with the all-inclusive package containing expedited immigration services, roundtrip airport transfers, private adventure guides, sunset drinks, and unlimited Tibetan spa treatments.

8. EDITION – Singapore

EDITION will be located in the heart of Singapore’s upscale shopping district. The 190-room hotel will feature five chic restaurants and bars, a rooftop pool, a spa, and a fitness center.

9. Six Senses Kanuhura Resort – Lhaviyani Atoll, Maldives

A resort set across 3 private islands comprising of 92 overwater villas and suites, Kanuhura will be Six Senses’ second location in the Maldives. The resort promises experiences like private picnics on a deserted island, wellness treatments, an organic herb garden, and diving with Eagle rays, reef sharks and bright triggerfish in one of the 40 nearby dive sites.
