Almost everyone planning a vacation is looking for the most comfortable flight. After all, who doesn’t want to relax after going to the airport and then enduring security and passport control checkpoints?
After announcing the acquisition of the highly anticipated Airbus A33neo, Virgin Atlantic has unveiled its new Upper Class cabins and ‘Retreat Suites’, which the airline says are the most spacious in its history.
The two exclusive ‘Retreat Suites’ are located at the front of the cabin. Inside travelers will find a six-foot-seven-inch seat that converts into a fully flat bed, a 27-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth connectivity and wireless charging. Additionally, each suite comes with an ottoman that doubles as an extra seat.
Inside each suite is space enough for up to four guests to dine, chat or just chill in a comfortable space.
Other than fancy Retreat Suites, Virgin Atlantic will offer 30 newly designed Upper Class suites, which will provide more space and storage. Guests will have the pleasure of a fully closing privacy door with a ‘do not disturb’ feature.
Corneel Koster, Chief Customer and Operating Officer, says “We care about every detail of the cabin design and every step of our customer’s journey.”
“We’re proud to unveil our state of the art A330neo and show the evolution of our customer experience, with each of our customers receiving a premium experience regardless of the cabin they travel in.”
